Process Engineer II

This position will be responsible for improving the effectiveness of the workforce by developing and implementing process improvement projects in operations and developing standard processing procedures in the plant. This role includes the use of structured problem solving and statistical process improvement methodologies. Contributes to and leads small project teams to ensure the successful completion of team objectives.
Major tasks include:
Collects and analyzes data, justify procedural changes or process modifications, and established operating procedures for the plant throughout the life of continuous improvement projects.
Optimizes processes to attain lower manufacturing costs, increased productivity and reduced cycle times.
Identify Improvement Opportunities in existing manufacturing operations.

Contributes to project teams to ensure the successful completion of team objectives.
Identifies training needs and develops training and standard operating procedures for employees to ensure effective use of continuous process improvement methodologies.
Conducts safety audits and observations throughout the CIP's, to ensure safe practices are not sacrificed by procedural changes or process modifications.
Find solutions to problems areas in existing operational procedures.
Leads tactical site-level projects. Contributes to regional & divisional projects.
Identifying/communicating/overcoming obstacles that may prohibit meeting production requirements.
Promoting a clean/safe work place.
Find solutions to problems areas in existing operational procedures.
Contributes to project teams to ensure the successful completion of team objectives.
Improve process procedures by partnering with operating employees in various departments to collect and analyze and implement results via training or capital expenditure recommendations.
Identify procedural changes to improve manufacturing efficiencies.
Assist management team in the execution and completion of CIP Projects.
Utilizing SHW control and quality systems to maximum benefit.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
Must have a four year Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Two years experience in Engineering
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
Advanced Degree such as a Master of Science or Master of Business Administration is preferred
Experience with Continuous Improvement processes/techniques such as Six Sigma, Lean, Transactional Lean or Root Cause Analysis is preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
